OH MY GOODNESS. You guys.
I literally can’t even start to say how grateful I am for the ENORMOUS amount of love that you all have poured out for me! And the support that you all gave through all of this Music Speaks business!! It really is the most humbling thing in the world. I have no words. I was not the winner of the contest but I just want to thank each and every one of you - because I was lucky enough to be chosen as a ‘runner up’ of sorts. Attached is the link to the letter that AJ Rafael himself wrote to all of his applicants, my name and video included, along with a personal invitation to COLLAB FOR A YOUTUBE VIDEO and hopefully LIVESTREAM SHOW. He said that my music spoke to him. WHAT?!?!
This. is. craaaaazy, because I have been so inspired by him and his music through the years, and I am so completely honored. And what’s more; You all did this for me. And I could ask for no better family, friends, and followers. :))) I am the LUCKIEST girl in the world. That being said, I’m not sure HOW in the WORLD I’m going to make it out to California to play with this guy, but that’s beside the point. Because I just need to remember that when you have faith and love and put in the work, the Universe will never let you down. And most importantly, when you love those around you, the love will come back tenfold in the most amazing ways.
So thank you, all of you. Without you, I would be lost.
