can make a world of difference. I found that seeking the silver lining in every cloud doesn’t just leave me with a bunch of silver, but with a smile on my face. A really great friend of mine once made me aware of how proud I was, and I realized that PRIDE was what was getting in my way. A sense of entitlement to things does not get you them - it makes you a sad, crabby person. Not to mention, it’s so exhausting overreacting to things and being offended by stupid things. I am constantly worrying and planning, and I want to be able to experience the spontaneity and the adventure of life. And although I’m not planning on giving up ALL of my ways of anticipation and planning, I did have an epiphany that changed a lot: everyone, including me, is entitled to happiness.

You just get the urge to do the running man.

So happy to be doing something with my summer. So happy to be getting out of here for a little break. So happy to be working and making progress. Meeting and working with new people. Life’s too short not to be happy.
